hi. I dont be conscious of what to inform ya, yet youd more advantageous positive take the wheels off; wash the brakes over a large bath w/ chemical brake purifier, or cleansing soap and water.(bear in mind the dirt) even although asbestos is passe`, I`d nevertheless extremely no longer breathe it or placed it into our environment. Have a pal press the brakes to work out in the adventure that they clamp and launch. Do the wheels turn freely? Then have your bud step on the pedal complicated and verify for leaks. Pay carefull attn. t the banjo bolt setting up at te calliper. If all is wonderful; wash all of it down and flow. were the discs deglazed? Its major to perfect bedding interior the brakes. desire this enables. Its not undemanding making a prognosis without each and each and every of the pertinate information.

i own a repair shop ,and no you don't have to disconnect them,i don't know who might have told you that but ,you don't disconnect them just to put brakes on,it will be fine with leaving them all hooked up,adding new brakes wont set the air bags off, good luck hope this helps.

The airbags are set off by an inertia switch, and have NOTHING to do with the brakes.

No worries....
