Wes Welker doesn't have a lot of reciving yards but check out his special teams kickoff return yards, don't you agree he whould get into the Pro Bowl sometime soon? Is he underrated?

Very underrated. I thought he did a good job in Miami despite playing for two of worst QBs in the NFL, Joey Harrington and Dante Culpepper.

Alot of people want to place Chris Chambers and Marty Booker over Wes Welker and true, they gained more receiving yards and TDs, but Welker adds the threat of Special Teams and that means a lot in the NFL today. You look at the NY Jets and see what a well oiled special team can do.

Welker is going to get his shot and a chance to shine now however, because New England is going to use him to his highest potential, mainly on the special teams where they need a little work.

Will he Pro Bowl as a receiver? Doubtful considering Dante Stallworth and Randy Moss now on the team, but will he possibly Pro Bowl on the special teams? Big possibility, but those damn NY Jets are tough on that lol.

Wes Welker is the fourth rated WR interior the league. He has a seventy seven% of completion cost. it extremely is the optimal share interior the league, and a good looking good deal higher than T.O.'s 57%. T.O. stuck eighty one/141 passes interior the universal season, and Welker stuck 112/one hundred forty 5. He catches almost each and every thing that is thrown to him. you'll have a receiver who that sturdy. he's 5'9" and 181lbs, so he would not look imposing through any stretch of the mind's eye. He would not even look large sufficient to be a receiver, yet he performs like between the perfect. And (Patriots/Cowboys sport) he provides some hits too. now to not indicate he can do somewhat dashing too. Wes Welker has been consistant. Few receivers this 12 months have stuck as many passes as Welker has. i don't be conscious of the precise stats, yet i imagine the optimal grow to be 116 (nicely acceptable me if i'm incorrect), and Welker isn't some distance in the back of with 112. because he's a slot receiver, even as he receives the ball, he's often swarmed with protective participant, yet he nevertheless managed over 1100 yards. *And very last week in the course of that play, you be conscious of, THE play the position Brady faked it to Faulk,... Brady did not throw it to Moss or Stallworth. He threw it to Welker, and it grow to be outstanding. If Welker grow to be a lesser receiver, he gained't have made that capture. It wasn't "dumped off" to him. -"Loving existence" - that's complicated to take something you're saying heavily once you aren't getting the call accurate. that's 'Welker', no longer 'Walker.'

Its hard to say someone that has 96 catches and 1 TD in 3 years is underrated. He dont have the size or speed to be a #1 WR, and being in New England with Moss and Stallworth, he will have to fight Kelly Washington for the 3rd WR spot.

He will now be a pro bowler because he is in New England. The Pats have Brady who spreads the ball to ALL of his recivers.

Welker is a good recevier who plays with a ton of heart, gives it his all and is fearless. I am totally baffled why the Dolphins gave up on him.

Under-rated? He's a good KR and PR but his WR skills are limited. I thought NE paid to high of a price for him.
