They have so much at WR now

Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, Kelley Washington, Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, and now Randy Moss

Also including others like Bam Childress, Kelvin Knight and Chad Jackson

That's 9 recievers

I couldn't see Troy Brown with another team, he basicially saved our season last year.

I would rather have Troy Brown than Bam Childress, Kelley Washington, and Kelvin Knight

What are your thoughts?

Hey, man...You know as a die hard Pats fan like me that if there ever was a class player on the Pats, well, of course the first one everyone thinks of is Tom Brady...but Troy has been with the Pats even longer...So, they need to show him the same respect he has shown them...I can't see Troy putting on someone else's uniform...could you?...Of course, I thought that about Vinatieri, and he sold out to the arch rival...So, hell with Adam...

Personally, I would rather have Troy Brown on the roster than Reche Caldwell...I don't know what the freak was going on with Caldwell during the AFC Championship, but he lost it for the Pats...Gaffney and Jackson did enough to stay...I expect that there will obviously be cuts as there always are from training camp to the 53-man roster limit...and Caldwell better check himself in training camp...

Troy Brown should stay in New England, he is iconic to the team. He has been there longer than most any other player and despite growing age, the man plays with so much heart and soul that it would be disrespectful of the Patriots to have him go.

On the other hand, Reche Caldwell is the worst excuse for a receiver today , just remember his botched performances in the Playoffs, not to mention he single handedly cost New England the AFC Championship, when he dropped key passes that could've sealed the game. If any one member should go , it should be Reche.

I know most people would argue based on his San Diego performances but this is New England baby, the belly of the beast and half-assed catches won't cut it. The team is looking for another Deion Branch or David Givens. With Dante Stallworth and Randy Moss , you MORE than have that attack. Having Wes Welker and Troy Brown backing them up , they will be unstoppable. Of course Jabar Gaffney did well too ,but still a little green , thus more reason to keep Troy Brown to condition him.

idk if the pats will sign him. WE HAVE SOOO MUCH TALENT AT RECEIVER. i forgot about caldwell and chad jackson. knight and childress are minor receivers u rarely hear of. but we got two number 1 receivers. and i believe kelley washington is fast. caldwell had one bad game and is speedy. gaffney did AWESOME. anyone with brady does awesome. troy brown is such a typical pats receiver. not too big. decent speed. doesnt argue, or talk trash. and hes been with us forever? but they have too many receivers. lol

I agree. There is something very wrong with sports today if someone like Troy Brown is not welcomed back. Let the Yankees treat the likes of Bernie Williams like that but not our Pats.

I think we will resign him because of his great versitility. Your right, he did save us last year. The guy is what you call a true Patriot.

Go Pats!!
