Does anyone know if baby food jars will "pop" open if I pack them in my luggage and it is put in the plane cargo area? I don't want to take them in my carry on since airport security will probably not let me take so many and I have a pack of twelve leftover from my trip that I dont want to throw away.

Generally they should be safe. On most aircraft the baggage area is within the pressurized section of the plane. It won't be heated there as in the cabin, but unless it is a very long flight, should not freeze.

certain. I took the small level a million toddler jars on board and protection were wonderful about it, truly they said it and did not even factor out something. they are more advantageous lenient with toddler food and milk. So do not problem! The worst that would want to ensue (which it wont) is they could confiscate the food, yet so what? all you want to do then is in simple terms purchase some more advantageous at a Boots chemist interior the airport (maximum airports have one!) there is not any reduce on volume of drinks in case you purchase it from the airport after protection verify in.

I think that they should be okay. You might want to put them into a plastic bag just in case (are they glass or plastic containers?). Another thought: rather than throwing them away you could donate them to a food bank.
