Hot Pink Hair....?

Question

I have naturally jet black hair and I thought It would be cool to add some hot pink or some funky color on the roots and tips of it. How can I do it????

u will have to bleach the part that u want to dye first, as your hair is so dark...i recommend using "special effects" hair color...u can buy it at hot topic, on ebay, or here...

Since you say your hair is jet black( although no ones hair could be naturally jet black) you would have to bleach your hair first to a light golden brown or blonde and then add a fuschia rinse to it. That will give it the pink color i did it myself once.

go to sallys, get some bleach powder, some 40vol developer and a mixing bowl and application brush.

it will tell you how much to mix together, then apply bleach to the parts you want coloured. leave untill your hair is the colour of the inside of a banana then rinse.

then get some manic panic amplified or special effects hairdye and cover bleached hair in it. leave for as long as you like, the longer the better.

then rinse and condition!

I don't think you should do pink but i wouldn't know because of what you looked like. i like red in black hair. I have seen alot of people like that and it looks really good

at hot topic they sell comb in hot pink hair color. so you can go to hot topic

I would leave the carpet and drapes, the same black color! That's just me though.
