What are your signs and symptoms? Do you have swelling and or pain around that region? Do u have erectile dysfuntion?
Of course, it would never harm u to go see a physician.
If I were u.....I'd get it checked ASAP.

If you can get yourself aroused and masturbate to ejaculation your are good.
