Did you get a new job and need to relocate?? Is your EX abusive or abuses alcohol or drugs? You need to think about the real reasons you want to move the children away from the mother.(or Father...whichever!) Think about how you would feel....Would you like your ex to move away with your children knowing that it may be even more difficult for you to see them? If you need to move then Move. But if you're doing it for selfish reasons Then she (or He) may be able to stop you.

unless either your or your ex has a vistitation order i dont see any reason why you can't move away altho if your children would miss their "absent" parent immensley then please dont mess with their young and impressionable minds. i know break ups arent always amicable and you may wish to do this to hurt your ex but look at it this way, the only people hurting in the long run are the kids who you would be taking away from their other parent and they may in the future end up resenting you for this.
