I sorta like this guy, who we'll call Jim, who I had completely sworn off from liking because he was mean to me in the past and now he's nice to me and I guess you can say we're friends. Yesterday he told me he liked a girl who broke up with him and that he can't get over her. We'll call her Stacy. She told me she doesn't like him anymore and he already knows that. And then I have another guy friend, let's say his name is Bob. Bob told me not to like Jim because I probably don't have a chance. And Bob and Jim are best friends. I totally respect Bob's opinion, but I don't know if I want to follow it. Then my friend, who we'll call Kasey, tells me she thinks Bob might like me... and I'm not so happy about this. And don't get me wrong, Bob is a great guy and great friend, but not a friend I want to kiss. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I think that you should go with who you like, and tell Bob that you like him as a friend, but not in a boyfriend way. As for Stacy, I would let her work it out. You like someone, and she likes the same person, so she's not really your friend if she can't accept that you like the guy she likes. I hope this helps, good luck!

Well maybe you should take a step back and focus on being the best possible friend to everyone. If someone comes out with it that they like you, then go ahead and deal with it however it needs to be dealt with. On the other hand, if you wanna be brave and go for what you want, you go girl! Just consider the consequences before you act:) need any other advice feel free to e-mail me.

You should listen to your friend Bob.. You don't want no one on the rebound... And if Bob likes you then you can tell him you are not interested in him that way.
Go find someone outside your group of friends..
