Were you disappointed with Nicolas Cage's movie "Next"?

I was really psyched for the movie to come out and then at the end I was like, "Huh?"

these are our opinions and are all very subjective but...

i really liked this movie! the only thing i did not like was the voiceover explaining most of the setup which occurs at the front of the film. after that was over, there was nothing about the film i did not like.

i don't want to give too much away for those who have not seen it, but it is really an action film with a quirky sci-fi premise, not a quirky sci-film with some action.

i felt i was going to be entertained in any case and i was. i just love it when actors with real chops get involved in action or sci-fi films and Moore does that here. my impression is that she had fun doing it and it showed to me.

cage is up to the task as usual, bringing credibility to a role that other actors do not. and tho i would have liked to see Biel take a more active role, sometimes just seeing her is enough.

again, i don't want to get too specific, but this is the type of movie that i think action and sci-fi fans will enjoy.

there are some films that i purposely wait to see on cable, just because being seen on a big screen doesn't ledn anything to the movie. in this case, i think it does.

of the two movies that i saw yesterday, this is the one i feel i got my money's worth.

Yeah, that's pretty typical of many of the movies that have come out of Hollywood.

You're all excited to see it, then when it comes out, it really does NOT live up to all the hype.

Which is why I usually just wait for it to come out on cable.

hes only done 2 good movies,valley girl and raisin arizona.
