Why must they send special, armed guards with Prince Harry? I think it's useless spending. I think the surroundings of armed soldiers in his unit, is enough personal protection for Prince Harry. Don't you think?

I don't think the concern is that he might be killed, but that he might be kidnapped. I think it is sensible to take a few precautions, the Iraqis would just love to get their hands on a real live prince.

If that happened he would be in a worse position than the ordinary soldier. If a ransom was demanded, or if he were injured, there would be a mighty uproar about favouritism if any type of rescue was sent, or a ransom paid.

To protect the country's investment in him and to ensure that the soldiers about him can get along with doing their job. seems sensible to me.
