The starting pitcher must pitch at least five complete innings (four innings if the game is shortened to five by rain or whatever) to qualify for the W. Once the relievers get in the game, it's just a matter of being the pitcher of record when his team takes the lead which is not relinquished.
If the starter does not go the minimum five, but leaves with the lead which is not relinquished, the official scorer assigns the W to whichever relief pitcher is most effective in his professional evaluation. If this is the last pitcher, and he entered the game in a save situation, the W takes precedence over the S and no save is awarded.

a minimum of 5 finished innings and he should be the pitcher of list even as his team takes the lead, for video games of 6 innings or extra. For a recreation that is going only 5 innings if the starter pitches 4 finished innings he will be credited with the win. something shorter than 5 innings isn't an authentic recreation.

As a starting pitcher, he must complete five innings. As a relief pitcher, he needs to have his team break the tie or come from behind when he pitches the final out of the inning where that occurs and IF his team never ties or trails again.

A starter must go five complete innings. But a reliever can get a win without 5 innings as long as they pitched up to or past the 5th inning

4 2/3 innings will get a starter a win (over 1/2 the game). It is NOT 5 complete innings.
After the starter, it can be any reliever with as little as 1/3 of an inning, depending upon the situation.

One-third. If the score's tied, 5-5, a pitcher comes in and throws the last out of the ninth, and the home teams scores, he's credited with the win.
