Sydney in May- warm days, cool evenings, some rain. Bring your comfortable shoes, a bit of spending money, a jumper (sweater), shorts and blue jeans. Sydney is a casual community, public transportation is okay. Use the trains when you can, otherwise, the buses. You will meet a lot of wonderful people and see a beautiful city. Also, take the ferry to Manly and enjoy the beach there.

Layers. It is cool in the mornings and evenings and warm during the day.
It has been raining lately so bring an umbrella or rain jacket.
Today's forecast - some showers, top of 23 degrees celcius.
Also - bring a camera and some comfortable walking shoes, and some nice going out clothes because there are lots of nice restaurants and bars.

Chilly in the morning and evening. Warm in the afternoon. Rainy too. Public transport is good. Many places to visit. Dont miss the Blue Mountain. Not going to Melbourne? I think Melbourne is nicer. Dendanong, Botanic Garden, Torquay,...endless. Awesome!

" Sydney is a casual community, public transportation is okay"
In Australia we call it public transport. Transportation was the sentence given to the convicts who were sent here 200 years ago. It only has that meaning here so talking of "public transportation" is ambiguous to say the least. Stick with "transport" and you won't go wrong.

Think Los Angeles in the Fall months: wool pants, long sleeve blouses and sweaters, and light to medium- weight jackets.
