I was told by my hairdresser a few years ago that I have natural highlights and to stick with my natural color because I could ruin the natural color of my hair. I have black roots that grow out into dark brown strands with redish highlights. My daughter's hair is the same color.

MIne is dark brown with some grey... The sad thing is that it is falling out! I was so proud of my hair back in the day and now I'm watching it give up on me and fall out... boo hoo.
