I think this is how too many people think of these yellow ribbons.
Yellow Stickers
She stuck her yellow sticker
on her SUV,
thinking that would be enough.
She supported the troops-
even watched their faces on the nightly news-
the ones that didn't make it back home,
but she didn't know any of them.
She put on her lip gloss while waiting in line
at the gas pump,
thinking about all she had to do at the office.
She never thought about the gas prices too much,
or where it came from.
She got a tax break for buying her big machine,
the SUV that had it all. Her neighbor had one too,
as well as, the lady on the next block.
They all have yellow stickers.

What ISN'T made in Korea, China, Malaysia, or Mexico these days??
And do you think it's just Republicans who display yellow ribbons in support of our troops?? I think not, Dumbo!
I suspect there are Democrats, independents, members of the Green Party, atheists, agnostics, dunderheads, school teachers, celebrities, Catholics, lesbians, IRS agents, garbage collectors, politicians, Korean-Americans, pit bull breeders, movie stars, and even illegal aliens who display Korean-made yellow ribbons. -RKO- 04/29/07

So are the flags. So are some of the computer parts you use. So are some of the car parts you drive. SO FLIPPING WHAT. If it wasn't for the government taxing our companies so much, they would stay here and make a profit.
