Do not turn on your high beams, it will only make it worse as the light from your headlights will be reflected in the fog. I always drive a little slower and make sure that my lights are on, just not my high beams. Where I live, some people don't even turn on their headlights.

You should use your low beams. High beams make it harder to see in the fog.
