Whats the best clothes to wear to be a vampire?
me and my girlfriend are going to this fancy dress thing, for teens, and we wented to know that, no links, just detailed answers please

The vampire look is a very attractive look. It's a combination of Goth and New romantic.
Your hair color should be vibrant and your hair super shiny.
Being gaunt really helps with the whole effect.
Women: wear a metal hair clip with sharp designs on it.
Men: slick back hair or tie into a ponytail.
Spread foundation two shades lighter than your natural skin tone all over your face and body.
Put on a set of quality fangs.
Paint the tips of the fangs with some blood red nail polish.
Put some bright red lipstick on. DO NOT wait for it to dry before proceeding to the next step.
WITHOUT removing the bright red lipstick put some blood red lipstick on.
Press your lips together.
Get some mega sparkley contacts (light blue, if possible) or wear sunglasses.
Girls, women and transwomen: (winter and fall) long black skirt, black or dark red bell sleeved top, cloak as much velvet as you can afford. (summer and spring) long black skirt of a light weight material, dark colored corset.
Boys, men and transmen: long black velvet coat on top on top of a white shirt (button-up, no collar) with a red silk ascot.
Tips
DO NOT WEAR ANY PASTELS. Dark colors are preferred.
Also, vamps are very well-dressed. Do not look shabby, or you will be a disgrace everywhere.
Painting on neck-holes etc is very cheesy.
Vamps are sexual creatures, so showing off SOME cleavage is ok. Just don't overdo it.
Warnings
Don't use something poisonous for the blood on the fangs, and don't apply when the fangs are attached to your teeth.
Don't bite someone. The cops WILL arrest you for assault.
Don't jump off a building and try to turn into a bat halfway down.

Well you don't want to go for the 'hammer horror/Bela Lugosi' look. The Victorian goth look is really attractive and sophisticated. As the name suggests it imitates the fashion of the Victorian Era but can include some Georgian styles as well. Look out for clothes like these but in dark colours. For your girlfriend, she should try knee high black boots, the ones with slender heels and avoid the chunky ones. You'll both need fangs, buy the little caps that fit over your teeth, they're realistic and quite comfortable. A vampire costume will look great if you take time out for your fingernails. Black nail polish is an obvious choice and should be worn on long nails That's not just for girls though and you could have it done too, I'm a guy and I wear black nail polish often and you'll only be doing it for one night only.
