Why do people dance? If that is the question, they do it for many reasons:
to celebrate (as in a wedding reception, or similar function)
to raise funds (as in a fundraising dinner/dance)
to attract someone (as in a night club, at a party or disco)
mostly we do it to be social and have fun. Try it!
