i'm talking about in softball. i hear the girls talking about it on the team all the time, but i have no idea what it is. i know it's when the pitcher is throwing it.. but what exactly is it?

its a certain way the pitcher throws it if they are throwing pretty fast then they throw a pretty slow one its called a change up they pitch fast to make the batter swing then they throw a slow one to Sike her out and make her swing faster than she really has to.

It's a pitch that looks like a fastball coming out of the pitchers hand but then dramatically slows down to throw the batter off.

A change -up is when a pitcher will take something off the pitch so a batter will get out in front of the ball or will miss the pitch because the timing of the batter is off.

it is a certain kind of pitch. it is when it floats it the air a little. it usually makes the batter swing early b/c thay think it is a fast ball
