Del Piero and Buffon are the most recent that come to mind.
Although some of the users have suggested loyal players, I think a player who stays with a club, despite being relegated to a lower division when he/she could play for any club in the world and get paid far more is the most loyal.

Well currently Giggs in Man U he's been with them from the start Scholes and Gary Neville isn't far from him (a lot of Man U players actually). Maldini in AC Milan and I think that's just self-explanitory. Raul hasn't left Real yet and I doubt he will anytime soon. I'd say Thierry Henry only coz he didn't leave for Barca when he had the chance. The Juventus players who stayed after relagtion. But the most loyal player of all time? I'd like to know that too.

Loyal and Disciplined

Henry - Loyal but not Disciplined a Diver

Giggs - Loyal and Disciplined

Lampard - He was made to leave Hammers, but I can say he will stay with the Chavs and hes disciplined

Rooney - Not Loyal nor Disciplined

C. Ronaldo - A type of w*nker and very slightly loyal (if man utd were 4th this season he wudnt have extended his contract)

Maldini - 20 years during the ups and downs he was always there, most disciplined, a legend, the greatest sportsman.

Gerrard - Loyal to loserspool (even though loserspool are a lucky team and he knows) but a diver

Terry - Loyal (set to stay with the Chavs) and disciplined

Mathew Le Tissier (Southampton)

Could have went to any club in the premiership but decided to stay with Southampton. One of the best players to play and gave up his England spot to keep his club up every year.

Scored some of the greatest goals ever seen in the premiership.

i have many examples, first one is recently, David Villa, offered 70 Euros from Chelsea but extended his contract with Valencia for 7 years so he assures all the clubs that he is remaining with Valencia...

i have another player, Vicente Rodriguez, this is about 6 or 7 years ago, when he played for Levante (a club in spain) he flied to England to train with Arsenal for some time...he was offered about 20-50 million from big clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid..and Valencia offered about 5 million only and Vicente went for Valencia...that really got me impressed that there are players out there who are really interested in playing for Valencia CF

Franco Baresi. One of the few players to spend his entire career on one squad, he lived for the club.

Ryan Giggs. Another player who has spent his entire career for one club, I really do believe he is one of the game's greats.

A most loyal player to his club must be Paolo Maldini who has spent all his life in Ac Milan. I think Thierry Henry has been very loyal to Arsenal.

francesco totti! rome's darling - been at roma since he was 14 years old, hes become synonomous with the club, i doubt he will ever leave probably going to take up a youth coach job when he retires.
franco baresi - at ac milan all his playing career, and now a coach for them.
