Females are less agressive then the males, so if you want to breed the babies you should put them in the same container. Two males would be a definite no no, but 2 females, or a female and a male would work fine. You're Welcome;

Corydora catfish are sturdy, and Platies make surprising tank-pals for Bettas. Platies are wonderful with or without different Platies, yet Corys favor to be in communities of three or more advantageous. you would possibly want to do Neon Tetras, yet they must be in colleges of a minimum of 5 or 6. some human beings have difficulty retaining them alive for some reason, too. stay away from nicely-known fin-nippers and aggressive fish, and any fish which have lengthy, flowing tails or fins, like fancy guppies. A Betta can mistake those for yet another Betta and attack them. bear in mind, basically a million inch of fish in line with gallon of water. sturdy success!

i just asked at my local fish hobby store, The male should have a bubble nest built after he does you can introduce the female and they should hit it off, But watch for excessive fighting,( some fighting could possible be signs of mating not sure) I also read that having an airstone bubbler under the bubble nest helps but that may only be when hatching them without parents.

If you have an interest in breeding these fish then be responsible and go out and buy a book about it, there is more to it then dropping two fish together, and can you really trust the guy at the fish store? In my experience they are undependable. Learn learn learn!
