If it's saying something about the 2.0 prot, it probably means that you don't have one. We just has this same problem when we first started using outr DVD burner. Run out to Best Buy and grab a new USB port. They are all 2.0's now. You just need an upgrade. You'll get way better performance from your burner once you upgrade that! BTW, they are really cheap, only $10-$20.

Hey, that's two questions. :)

Lightscribe means with special type of DVD or CD media, you use same drive to burn a faded-looking graphical label onto the media by flipping the media over and wait like 30 minutes with the appropriate labelling program.

As for USB2.0 port... You'll just have to look at your PC's specs. They don't exactly come in unique shapes.
