Well Ive only had one real relationship and I was dumped. I reacted well at first because the guy was going through a rough time in his life. I kind of agreed when he broke it off, I even gave him time before we started dating cause of the situation. When I realized he didn't feel or me the way he once did then I was really hurt, but it was more than not being a couple anymore, it was about losing a friend. He was one of my best friends for years before we dated so it was tough. Ive never had to break up with anyone but Ive turned down my share of guys. The best way(even if its hard) is to do it n person and be truthful.

Dumper: The ONLY proper way to do it is to be honest, and considerate of the dumpee's feelings, and not to make a huge drama of it, and not to be drawn into the drama s/he might start.

Face to face in as civilized and honest way as possible, not over the phone, or text, or letter that is so wrong i think..... if you even have to thrash things out.... just get it over and done with. Always make sure you give the reason why.... which is usually about the person who's doing the dumping.

I was the Dumper I just told him bye and he said this is the first time a woman dumped me oh well

It was mutual the last time.
I said we were on different pages. He agreed.
We walked away with any nastiness or hurt feelings.
I allowed myself time to grieve the "might have beens", and went on with my life.

when i dumped my last boyfriend i just told him it was over and i moved out a few few months later i met my husband and we have been together ever since
