I am a manager and they want to move me to a bigger store to be a manager there..i don't want to go..can they make me?

Legally no. However if you refuse the position, you run the risk of being considered "not a team player" and it may hurt you in the end anyway. Rather than refuse outright you can consider your reasons for not wanting to take the other position - are there any negotiating points you can use to see if they can make it into a more interesting offer (more pay, more vacation, better hours?) For example, if the other store is further away, can you negotiate for a company car, or travel rebates?

It depends of your store's policy. You can request that you be not transferred, but it is up to them. They will either say,"OK, you can stay here," or "If you don't want to move, we'll have to let you go."
