I have dontrell willis and Garland. Dontrell is doing ok, his ERA is a little high, his K's are good though, but Garland is really who I'm looking to trade. In terms of offensive producting Outfielders, what would be a good trade if I wanted to get to get someone using Garland?

Also, Is trading away Garland a mistake?

Also, my rotation is already stacked and includes the following:

Halladay, Bonderman, Daisuke, Dontrell, Garland, Papelbon, Otsuka, Clemens

I was an idiot at the draft and took clemens for some reason, but if he decides to come back around June, I'll trade him off as well.

I just need some offense. Would carl crawford be hard to get?

Garland is not a high point producer so you can't expect much of an outfielder. Freel might be a better that average trade as he will give you some flexibility being a multi-position player.

I wouldn't trade Garland. He started off slow last year as well, but he went on to win 18 games. Last year in August he really carried his team. At one point they had went through the rotation twice and only had 2 wins, both from Garland. I see why you would want to trade him now, but if you do you'll be kicking yourself later.

Personally , I do not like to trade a pitch for offense only. I would use it in a combo deal in which I can get another pitcher and the outfielder. If you have a hitter that can be dealt without it hurting you then I would make a deal. Just make sure if you trade that pitcher ,make sure you get a hitter that will increase your run production or I believe you might regret the deal.

Only you can answer that question, but in my opinion you aren't going to get much in return for Garland.

Never trade pitching for offense because, if you have no pen it doesn't matter how ggod your offense is.
