My bike was stolen 3/17/07, it was recovered last Wednesday. It was theft ring in northern Georgia. The theives had begun to strip my bike. The engine, frame, wheels are all intact. The top of the bike, the tank, seat, fairings had been removed but are recovered. The battery is gone the ignition is gone and the wheel lock broken. There are many wires that are unattached and just hanging. The plug wires and coils appear to be intact. It is more of lights, and there is no computer, if there was one. I need to find out what is missing and what I need to do to approach this rebuild project. I would appreciate any info that could get me started. Thanks.

i would go to yuore local dealer and purchase a service mannual on it.clymer puts out a good one with full illustrations, even for the novice,it is understandable with complete pics.be very carefull and check twice,as wiring done wrong usually results in fire damage.take youre time, youre bike needs youre full attention,so make sure you give it youre all,and if it dont work out,you will at least have gained a lot of knowledge, and a "e" for effort.good luck
