Death row - murderers lifers?

I cant understand why some women write to people on death row or fall in love with murderers, does any one no the answer

Well I kid u not, They did a special on A&E about this, Now if you want to meet someone in jail or wite to them there are different websites, like inmate penpals, etc....... There was this lady who married a guy on deathrow but he eventually got off and got out they were married 12 yrs . But he spent 10 in jail and the marriage only lasted 2 yrs after he got out. Man I wish you could have seen the documentary. Some women are desperate and some feel they can save the men or help them.

I have been writing to around 20 prisoners male and female on death row for a number of years now.
Sorry to have to tell you that I have never fallen in love with any of them.
One who I used to write to was proven innocent and released.
I believe that anyone is capable of a bad thoughtless act at some point in their lives. Many of the men and women I write to did not actually kill anyone.Because of the American legal system, being involved in a crime that ends in a murder can result in you being on death row.
I am not excusing what they have done.Only God can do that.
And I am not setting out to tell you that they are all saints. They are human beings and deserve to be treated as such. If the inane details of my life can give someone somewhere a brief look at a different kind of life, then I am thankful that I am able to shine a little light in the darkness.
I also write to the families of victims . They sometimes need a little inanity in their lives to blow away their own clouds of darkness.
I well understand how you feel. The only people who seem to get publicity for writing to prisoners tend to be the thrill seekers or those deeply in need of validation and love. But please do not discredit the committed people of many different faiths who just try to make things a little better.

That is a good question some of these people are not there for bouncing a cheque and what can the woman want from a relationship that is purely based on letters what the hell could you talk about to someone who has commited terrible crimes of murder. As a lot have said I find that very odd indeed.

I write to a guy on Death row & my reason has nothing to do with excitement or money. I do it because I feel a little compassion for his situation.
I, personally, think that once the death sentence has been passed, with no doubt of guilt, a prisoner should be allowed a month to sort out his affairs & make his peace with whichever god he prays to & then the sentence should be carried out.
I believe it is cruel to make them live for years never knowing if tomorrow is the day they are told will be their last.
I asked him not to write about his crime & he doesn't. He writes about his family, they disowned him & he does not hear from them, & I write about my everyday life, my dogs, work etc. Nothing too personal but just enough to let him know that someone cares if he lives or dies.

I think these women are weak minded to begin with. They fall in love because they are having an emotional affair with these men. For some women an emotional affair is stronger than a physical relationship.

it is enormously insensitive for you to think of that abortions are comparable to killing a individual. Are you basically blind to what number abortions are performed on fetus and not employing a shaped head? end lowering abortion to 3 existence or dying decision whilst it is too frequently dying or dying as an decision. conserving a fetus alive and forcing a mom to grant something without head and lungs is the best cruelty for a mom that extremely desires to have a toddler.

Some women prefer "bad boys" -- the women you describe are just the extreme cases of this common trend.

As far as why some women prefer dangerous men, that's probably a question best asked in another category (singles and dating, perhaps)?

My only guess is that those women are so screwed up themselves that no one else will have them.
