Is there anything aside from Mr. Clean Magic eraser that can help with this? I have never used the magic eraser, does it actually work? Is there a less toxic way of getting the scuffs off. . .I know the magic erasers contain formaldehyde which does not appeal to me so much.

Thanks :)

Try a Mr. clean magic eraser. If you have flat wall paint scuff marks will be hard to get off without leaving the wall lighter in the spot. If you are unsure of the type of paint on the wall try using warm water with some dish soap in it. If you have any xtra paint from the walls clean it off and paint the area. lastly if you decide to repaint the walls use a satin or a semi gloss paint these paints are good when it comes time for cleaning off spots on the walls.

A Magic Eraser works very well, though you have to be rather gentle on paint. I would spray with a 409 type product and gently use the Magic Eraser.

The paint has already been damaged. Scrub off the scuff mark with a little 409 and some good old elbow grease. You'll end up with a much less noticeable mark.

Toothpaste is another product that works great on walls! Just put some on a cloth and rub.
