Lots of clean water, change every 2 or 3 days.(keep clean, declorinated water near the tanks so the temps will be the same.) -----Learn about live foods,or buy different varieties of frozen foods.--------- Get BOTH fish in top condition, the male will kill a female that's not ready.----- Be patient, neither of your fish is mature right now. When the female is plump with eggs and her spawning tube is visible, and the male has built a fresh bubble nest, the fish are ready. Get a book on Anabantids you will never get enough information on this or other websites. ------- Like how many tanks you will need, what and how to feed the fry,how long will the male care for the fry, and many other questions that a good book will answer.----- Hint: look up infusoria, you'll need to know about that.-----GET A BOOK.

do no longer declare to be an authority in breeding betta fish. All i've got performed is accumulated information i've got researched with regard to the breeding of those appealing fish. In my study, there have been fairly pleasing issues that i've got chanced on approximately the thank you to reproduce betta fish. For a start up, you want a female betta fish. those are fairly no longer elementary to return via. maximum petstores in straightforward terms inventory the greater flamboyant male bettas. in spite of the shown fact that, in case you seek no longer elementary adequate on the internet, or ask your community petstore nicely, they are going to probable be pointed interior the staggering path. female betta fish are fairly uninteresting whilst in comparison with their male opposite numbers. some are fairly colourful yet their fins are often lots shorter than the lads. it is likewise conceivable to maintain female betta fish mutually in an aquarium while you are able to't try this with men (in actuality, you may desire to no longer save the female betta with the male the two - or something that even seems remotely like a male betta eg fantail guppies - they are going to be attacked).

My Betta's starting their courtship yesterday. I introduced my female to the male and he started flaring and making a bubble nest. This morning I removed the female because the male was being very violent with her. He has started guarding the nest. When he starts building his nest just put her in but watch carefully, when he starts to guard the nest he could harm her or even kill her or vice versa. Here is a link I found... Good Luck!

I wouldn't breed your betta. It is very hard and normally they will try to kill each other. Plus, think of all the bettas that are sitting at the petsore. They need homes to.
