Or where you live is a major factor in how people behave?

Do you join them if you can't beat 'em?

Do you find yourself more impatient and hostile because of the environment around you?

I used to find myself getting impatient and hostile when things didn't go my way, but I'm getting better and better at deliberately keeping those feelings in check and taking control of my emotions and not getting carried away with them.

It seems like as a society we seem to have this attitude of entitlement as if we were old world royalty or something, and the rest of the world, particularly those poor souls in the service industry, are our personal servant/slaves. I think some people take the saying "the customer is always right" way too far sometimes and use it as an excuse to explode in anger and to feel powerful over someone who is clearly not in a power position. People don't seem to discuss their problems rationally and reasonably, but use every little frustration as an excuse to explode in anger. Patience is a virtue sorely lacking in our society right now, but I am trying my best to work on myself in this respect.

When some one is angry, the vibes catch others also unnoticed. Hence environment plays a role. However if you find yourself angry always, it would be better if you manage it by attending anger management classes.

I rarely ever get angry because I accepted the fact that a good portion of people in the world suck and, theres nothing i can really do to change there behavior. So the best thing to try to do to deal with this is try to keep your patience with everyone because losing it will cause you to act like them.

It's a combination of what's around us, and what it evokes in us. But regardless....I do feel we have control over US. We might not have control over the environment much but we can control how we react. Yes, anger mgt classes will be v beneficial to everyone I think. They shd make it a mandatory class/seminar in schools I think.

Anger is easily diffused by depersonalizing. Unfortunately, many of us don't want to depersonalize. We are an ego driven, or prideful species.

Keep some distance from those who will suck you into their angry and aggressive approach to life. There are others out there who can take life with a grain of salt.

Absolutely! I feel like I'm losing my cool because of all the irritating acts people commit, especially young punks. I've never felt like this when I was younger. Maybe it's got to do with coming of age and I can no longer see eye to eye with young punks.

No, its not just you. Human beings are steadily being altered on a molecular level by all the chemicals in our society and in our world. Being constantly exposed to them in every facet of life, in everything we eat and drink and breath! "Human beings" now, are NOT what they were (physically, emotionally & mentall) just 100 years ago!!!

Get a fish tank.

It will teach you the answers to all of your questions.

Simply stated, the more fish you have the more toxic the tank becomes, the angrier the fish become, and the more likely they are to attack one another.

We are all in one big fish tank.

I find myself becoming more and more irritated at people who do stupid things. I feel they do these things because their parents never told them right from wrong; their parents did NOT do their job correctly! The parents, of today, feel it's more important to be their child's friend than to be the parent.
They are also afraid to discipline them and end up letting their children walk all over them - then they come here and ask why.................................

There are times when I am so angry that I can break the window with my fist. Don't be fooled by my sweet, shy, outward appearance. I am dangerous.
