Yes you are right! I felt as if I was watching the match of my city's young boys team and they were playing a 15 over a side match with hurry so they can reach home before its too dark. I think ICC should take the responsibility to spoil the final of this mega event and ask the cricket lovers all around the world for an apology for making a mess of this beautiful game.

Yes it should have been a 50 over match. Most boring????U r kidding Cant u remember the 1999 finals??it was the most boring finals.Sri lankans didnt give up and they had a chance till the end of the 18th over until sangakkara and jayasuriya got out and that took the game away from them.

I too was totally disappointed for missing the final with full quota of overs. However, I really enjoyed in watching some supurb batting display by Adam Gilchrist, Kumar Sangakkara and Sanath Jayasuriya.

Its not like you are thinking actually when 3 overs were left then the Umpire told them the play will continue tomorrow, but both the captain knows that Srilanka needs 80 run in 18 balls that just impossible so that the srilankan captain accepts the loss and give victory to the Australians.

I do agree with you, in addition the entire Series was a boring meaningless & a disaster one. Sorry to say but West Indies should not get any more chances to host the WC.
