Is it something that comes with age when we are less consumed with our appearance?

I live alone with 2 dogs.. they don't seem to notice if I skip a shower here and there.
There is a huge difference between running around like a stinky slob and not taking a daily shower..
I am certainly not a stinky slob.
I always be sure wash my face and hands a couple times a day. I brush my teeth regularly. That is good enough for me.
I don't shower any more or less now than at any other point in my life. And, I have never been consumed with personal appearance.

Dude, if I'm not going out and no one is going to see me (aside from family and close friends.) I'm not going to waste my time. If I've been sick or just stuck in the house for a couple of days, I've been known to go up to 3 without one. A lot of girls I know are the same, but guys seem to shower at least once a day no matter what. I think this is because guys don't have to worry about blow drying their hair, shaving their legs, etc. etc. I guess if I'm going to take the time to shower, I feel like I should put other efforts in as well that typically are time consuming.

Well I do try to get at least one shower a day but I guess sometimes if I do get busy around the house and I know that I am not leaving the house for the day I have skipped a shower.

I am 30 and I still take a shower everyday even if I am not going anywhere or expecting anyone! I have to I cannot stand the feeling of having that night sweat all over me!

I take a shower every day. I like to feel fresh with smoothly Shaved legs and soft, clean hair.

Never,its a shower every morning for me whether I'm going out or not.I like to feel fresh and clean before i get dressed.

I seem to be moving in that direction. It started with not doing my hair. Then it became ponytails and tshirts & sweatpants. I've skipped a day showering here and there.

I never pass up the chance for a shower.
Sometimes I have to be last in line and get mostly cold water.
