If you are using WinXP, the easiest route to backup FAVORITES is to open MY COMPUTER. Open you Local Disk C:, open Documents and Settings. You will see a folder listed with the username you chose or one that says OWNER. Open this folder and you will see an icon for FAVORITES. Just copy this to a USB flash drive and paste it into the same folder on new system. If you are using Firefox, you will need to select BOOKMARKS, ORGANIZE BOOKMARKS, FILE EXPORT. This will save your bookmarks to a file that you can save to USB DRIVE. THen use IMPORT to copy the bookmarks to new computer.

In IE, click on the File Tab and choose Export.
Save what you need and copy to CD or a UFD dongle, and do the same for the Address Book.
