As you have stated Persia's heritage is very rich and old and along with Iraq the very oldest heritage on earth. You are oil rich and the entire world acknowledges this. You could make such a list for all the cultures of the world. People of all backgrounds have contributed kindly to human progress.

Also, wealth pending on an abundant natural resource is not wealth. It's called a "lucky place to have inhabited."
