That's good for you but you haven't asked a question.

What thinking is behind someone giving me a thumbs down for stating the truth- that there is no question to answer? Is it because they also finish statements, rather than questions, with question marks? It's not like I haven't read all the stories about The Mint, GMTV, and You say we pay- I have. The Mint used to ask questions to which there could be many correct answers so that, no matter what the first few callers said, they could say that it was not the particular answer they were looking for. They also used to pretend that nobody was phoning in when people were calling in in their thousands. The people who operate this fraud could be prosecuted. The regulators themselves are naive, corrupt or lazy to trust programmes to run these quizzes, which are effectively like lotteries, without independent adjudicators on hand at all times. No-one should be soft on them- the regulators themselves make a fortune from running their toothless jobs.
Due to the large audience that ITV can reach, it only takes a very small percentage to enter for ITV to make a fortune each year.

What about the willingness of the public to line ITV's pockets (and sometimes the BBC's) though? This applies even more so in the case of the likes of voting for your favourite skater on Dancing on Ice. A great show for entertainment but what is the point in the public as a whole giving ITV millions of pounds each show in phone votes for the privilege of deciding which 2 skaters will face a knock out? Are some people confusing democracy with capitalism or do they really want TV bosses to get richer? Even a general election, which can directly affect everyone in the country, is decided by a free vote.

It's the judges who have the final say who goes out anyway so if the judges have a favourite skater they can always ensure that skater reaches the final no matter what the public vote for.

As for Blue Peter, whoever decide to ask a child to pretend to be a competition winner and whoever decide to cover up the decision should not be working for a public service broadcaster funded by a television tax on the public- the licence fee.

There is still no Yahoo question here to answer though.

I assume this ask for what people think and it a good question. Yea, everything a scam, especially TV shows. Survivor and those type things. It just a game. Heck, in a real survival situation, everyone works together to survive and everyone is important. You not run someone off so Barbie and Ken can be alone.

You mean that prog where the drunk chaps phone up to answer unbelievably easy questions in the vain hope of talking to the sexy presenter(Or Brian Dowling if you're of that persuasion) A sad loss that is, brilliant and amusing!

BTW I think you mean Exposed and not exploited because that's what the viewers were!

And Richard & Judy - and Blue Peter - they should put on some decent TV with a plot for a change instead of this talentless rip-off !!!
