Having been subjected to a lot of Fox News in my current living quarters, I find it to be:
1) Almost tabloidish in its relentless coverage of the unimportant. If a hot babe goes missing, Fox News goes into overdrive. It was the Laci Peterson channel, it was the Natalee Holloway channel, etc. There are very willing to jump on the Missing Hot White Woman Syndrome bandwagon.
2) Fair and balanced, as long as the scales are tipped toward the right. Sure, be right wing, that's fine...just don't pretend you're "fair and balanced." They're the farm team from which the White House picks its new cheerleaders (hi Tony Snow, feel better ok?).

Well, lets face it, you only complain about something you don't like. I guess they don't like Fox News. A lot of people complain about the Main Stream Media (MSM) too. It all depends on your political preference I guess. It seems to me there is a lot more MSM out there than one Fox News prgroam. If you don't like the slant, if your mind is closed, don't watch. It's that simple.
personally I go between CNN and Fox..that way I think I get both sides of the news. The problem is that people who only see, read, talk to people of the same political slant they favor have no ability to think for themselves.
Sad isn't it?

I am a Christian and must agree with you. I am not persecuted, I am blessed. I have a very full life taking care of my beautiful daughter and my equally beautiful wife, riding (and constantly repairing ) my old Kawasaki, great job, friends and family. I just can't relate to those who constantly complain. I gotta go on FOX and spread the Gospel, the GOOD NEWS about what God has done for me.

Fox has the courage to take the extra step, so to speak. They air news that most other networks are afraid of airing. They intentionally let the O.J. book go to the hilt to increase their viewers. More viewers means higher ratings and higher ratings brings in more advertising.
It's all a matter of money.

Because of their conservative political views. They don't fall in line with what other news channels present.
Now I watch Fox News, and here are some of the things I don't like:
- The inane chatter on the Fox & Friends shows
- Greta Van Susteran's obsession with criminal cases
- Their criticism of sexually explicit material - and the gratuitous presentation of such material as part of their story
- All the yelling on their Saturday morning business shows

Fox news is an abomination as it does not follow proper journalistic procedures and make sure everything they say and do is politically correct. They also do not use their influence to promote the Democratic Party and it's leftest agenda. Another problem with Fox News is they also allow Conservatives a voice, contrary to PC doctrine. They should lose their license to broadcast. It was Fox News that first released the news about Dan Rather,s reporting lies as news. That information smeared and ruined a good, loyal, politically correct news anchor.

I don't like any US news channel, they're super-conservative, they tow the line, scared of real journalism. The real coverage went out the door many years ago. Some of them still have integrity, but most are sellouts. The ones with integrity walk a fine line or they'll get fired.

Right on! You don't need to tune to Fox News to get lots of misinformation. It's not a bad idea to donate your television to charity, turn off your radio, and stop purchasing your newspapers from Hearst news organizations.
Isn't it about time for us to learn how to cooperate with each other and tune into reality?

No I don't have time to watch it either. I prefer to watch the news from cyberspace.
