It`s easy for women to lose their shoes. Remember they are usually strappy so will come off easily if you`re drunk - or dancing. Sometimes your mates run off with your shoe for a laugh - and you don`t see it again. I lost one in the sea. I threw one at a boyfriend and didn`t bother to pick it up - just stomped off with one shoe on. Oh you guys - you have no idea what we go thru do you ?

Well from a woman's side of view here, losing a shoe is easy because we have so many! We probably forget the last place we put our shoe and then we give up since we have so many more shoes to pick from. Well I have never lost a shoe but one time I couldn't find it but after a while I realized that I forgot them at a friend's house! Oh well.

I have lost a shoe by running too fast and just running out of it. I have also lost a shoe when the heel got stuck in a grating. Womens shoes come off more easily than mens.

Well if you get a blister and take your shoes off and then... you know... I reckon someone steals them! There is a pesky little shoe thief out there that just takes the one and hides it somewhere silly. I've walked home barefoot many a time - though to be honest I've never lost one for more than a few minutes when I'm out!

I've ended up with only one shoe because the other one broke in some way, took of the remaining one and walked home barefoot. It was in the middle of winter, snowing and I was very cold when I got home! But as I wear heels it would have been very difficult, and would've looked very silly, if I'd left the unbroken on on!

Probably drunk and not paying attention. I would defiantly walk home barefoot though because I'm not going to look stupid with one shoe on. And I live where shoes aren't necessary.

I lost one shoe ten years ago. Have no idea how this happened. I'm still holding onto the other one. It's a size six brown slip-on. Has anyone found it yet?
