When i put my Football manager game into my laptop, the loading icon comes up but then it doesnt start the game. Even when i click the programme from the start menu with the disc in it still does nothing. This has happened with other discs as well. Any help/solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Your restore placed you back to the point in the previous you changed the equipment. If Plug-n-play is operating, that is going to assert "new hardware discovered" and attempt to position in a motive force which will make it functional. do no longer use regedit for this purpose. in case your equipment would not see the CD - flow to regulate panel and search for "new hardware" . even if it isn't interior the present record, you are able to set up it there.

Look for the little icon for your disk drive on your system tray. (bottom right) Mine says "F" and looks a bit like a letter box. Right click on it and select "Run Autorun". Good luck.

install the program and if you have enough room copy the disc to a folder on the laptop and install and run from there....your cd drive may not be running to conserve battery life or the game isn't telling the drive to run....if you install and run from the folder then it should go smoother.

The cd drive it dirty or scrathced or not working replace it or you have a bad connection in the computer.

If it used to work before, try a remember when. Do a system recovery, to try and correct any errors.
