Fluid retention?

Could be a DVT, deep-vein thrombosis. The pill can cause this in rare cases. See a GP immediately and check with NHS direct. If its really swollen, ring an ambulance!

It sounds as if you have water retention, and you should go to see your doctor if this has appeared out of the blue

Maybe it's because of the sudden heat we've had... it happens to me ankles and fingers sometimes if I've been walking in hot weather.

COULD BE THE WEATHER IF ITS VERY HOT WHERE U ARE.

ARE U TAKING ANY MEDICATION THAT COULD BE CAUSING ODEMA ( FLUID RETENTION )
ARE U DIABETIC/

ARE U TAKING STEROIDS?

GET A BLOOD TEST FOR DIABETES AND KIDNEY DISORDERS IF U CANNOT FIND WHAT IS WRONG WITH U.
