If Bush is in this war for the freedoms of muslims-why are we doing this?

We are fighting to defend America from islamofascists who want to enslave the whole world. Helping some muslims have freedom is a side effect of what we are trying to do. The trouble is, since the koran teaches terrorism, I'm not so sure that many muslims want or respect freedom.

The Qu'ran tells every Muslim to either kill or convert every Jew and Christian.
Just like not every Jew practices the Torah, and not every Christian practices the Bible, so there are also Muslims who do not practice the Qu'ran.

Those Muslims who do follow the Qu'ran are called "fundamentalists" (to be compared, perhaps, to fundamentalist Christians, except with regard to particular dogma).

Muslim fundamentalists do want to kill Americans. Most Muslims, thankfully, are not fundamentalists. It is those non-fundamentalist Muslims that you are speaking of.

Muslims aren't out to kill every westerner any more than westerners are out to kill every Muslim. People are so arrogant to think their demographic are the only 'sane' ones - for instance to think anyone who isn't a straight white republican is either insane, deluded, out to get them or just plain stupid - or people who aren't black, democrat and from 'the ghetto' are sell-outs in the service of the man and who care about nothing but money. This is just madness. People are people - you get crazies everywhere.
