Yes!
Think about when you had no choice but to get up and change the channel manually because there were dials on the TVs.
We are much luckier these days. Those that don't want to get off their nice comfy couch can use a remote.........right up until the batteries die.........then we have to get up to change the batteries.

You mean it's possible to change the channels manually? I always just wait until I can find new batteries.

I just get new batteries for it or if I am too lazy I will take the batteries out of another remote or the closest toy around...

I don't worry about it. I keep batteries close to the remote. I can't EVER get up and turn the tv. Why not try it for yourself?

Yes indeed. Nothing worse than having to stop in the middle of it and replace the batteries. God forbid I miss something when I leave the room!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem for me....I have an emergency stash of batteries. A girl can never have too many batteries. ;)
