Mortherboard: MSI KM4M
OS: Win XP
Procssor: AMD +3000
Ram: 512Mb

My computer boots and runs extra slow.
CPU fan does not run.
Case fan dose not run
When coumputer is turned off the USB ports still are powered
Networking port dose not work

Things I have tried......

replacing Power supply with a new tested.one

ummouted motherborard from case diconecting all but HD moitor mouse keyboard. (fans now work)

I Have Fixed the problem by refomating the Hard Drive and re installing a Fresh install of XP.

All is running fine now

I wouldn't say your motherboard has been shot, but with all those erros, I would definitely say it's time to replace the motherboard. You may want to be aware, if the CPU and case fan are not working or stop working, and your computer overheats, that could fry all the equipment in your computer.

first off... E-Machines are known to overheat, plus they usually ship with shitty burners made by Samsung or Toshiba

second... i would be willing to bet your cpu is just about fried along with your mobo... you should try replacing both the CPU and Case fans and see if the replacement fans work... if not... you'll be able to use your MSI mobo as a paper weight...

If I understand you, it sounds like you replaced the factory MoBo with the MSI.

Just a guess, but the Emachines power supply is likely way too small, replace it.

Do the fans spin freely when spun with your finger? If not, replace them.
