Hi - my dishwasher's anti-flooding device has been activated. This is an alarm that is triggered in the event of a water leak in the dishwasher. I've fixed the blockage that caused the anti-flooding device to work (Total Acquastop) but now can't find a way to get the dishwasher to start drawing water and worki properly again.
Have read the manual and guess what . . . .it doesn't tell you!
It just says get in touch with the service centre ( so that they can send an engineer out to press a few buttons and charge you around £160 quid for the priveledge!!)
Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

There is a vacuum operated valve which turns the electricity on for the valve which allows the water in to your dishwasher. The vacuum valve is not doing the job because you have totally removed all water from the dishwasher you need to manually put some water in the reservoir to allow the pump to pump some out at start up and create the necessary vacuum.~~
