From racism to animal slaughter to science. When will we start educating by supplying information instead of prescription?

Further info after reading the comments. Look, this question is a debate and it is the place where the what should we do questions are addressed. But, without the facts debates usually lead to blind prejudice. The more information, and yes about gravity too, and its theoretical foundation are essential to a proper debate. That is the beauty about things like gravity that most people don't know, there is theory behind it, theory capable of revision. But, if you dont teach kids that even the theory of gravity becomes taught as a non-questionable law. This is how kids grow up thinking all our knowledge is set in stone and they become very unproductive.

Some people are so ignorant they don't know what to do with the facts.
Many people will dispute your facts if they disagree with what you are trying to tell them.

Since all the human beings posses the soul as the part of the supreme ! everyone possess the intelligence and knowledge, the only problem is that many of us learn by making mistakes. the reason I say this is because, If some one explains something then we can judge and conclude whether the thing is correct or wrong as soon as we understand the topic this is due to the fact that all the information is compared with the memory and the intelligence discriminates it and takes a decision. WE ONLY REQUIRED TO BE GUIDED.

AS far as my experience in the present life I don't see any person that can claim to be a teacher and still be living in this world, he would have gone to the place of the supreme bliss the very second he become enlightened !!!
All the persons who claim to be great and still here, may not be qualified to be called teachers. IT IS LIKE THE BLIND SHOWING THE WAY TO THE OTHER BLIND.!!!

Don't kid yourself!0!

The facts are constantly there, like gravity, they never fail to be there, but also most people take it for granted. You don't go around thinking about gravity, do you? Well, maybe you should start doing that and see where it takes you.

And just so you start with the right foot, by gravity I mean Law, all the laws in your life. There's Purpose and Law behind everything you experience here and now.

The worse blind is not the one that can't see, it's the one that won't see.

Good luck!

You may have concluded that action is controlled by information. This conclusion is false. Some are quite happy with the treatment of animals for food and science. Others are not.

Someone who wants a fur coat doesn't really care what has been done to the animals involved. I think you would be more successful in your goal if you address the lack of caring.

Most people don't want the facts. They want to feel good and live in ignorance. We are so used to the media giving us their spin on the facts, that some would not know what to do with the facts without an interpretation. People no longer seem to know how to think. Perhaps it is because the media always seems to provide their own spin to the facts, or only supply those facts which supports their position.

i think alot of information is supplied, people just often choose not to act on it, or even consider it,,,,,, so then we have to "tell them what to do"
for example, most people know the "facts" that excessive speed in an auto leads to accidents, it leads to worse damage and injury if an accident occurs,,,, and often others (not speeding) are injured or killed,,,,, these facts are well known, yet it takes speed limits and the potential for fines to get many people to slow down at all.
and also, sometimes what seems a fact to one, might not be to another
