I wanna see this constellation tonight. I live in central europe.
where is it? where to look to find it?

You'll probably have to be quick. Try looking west right after sunset. I use Cartes du Ciel (its free). Plugged in Berlin (as a guess for central Europe, apologies if this is not really close enough but I think it should suffice), April 29, 2007 and about 8pm standard time (one hour ahead of UT, I guess that would be 9pm daylight time). The program shows Rigel almost on the horizon, the Belt stars about 10 degrees up and Betelguese 18 degrees up.

Southwest near the horizon, find venus and look to the left for the three belt stars of Orion around dusk

Hi. Orion is visible in the southern hemisphere at the moment because of the tilt of the earth(winter)In 6 months time you should see it in the sky in the Northen Hemisphere for a lot longer.

Orion is nearly gone from the night sky by this time of year... but, never fear, it will return next winter :)
