Hi there, I had a miscarriage at the beginning of February and was in quite a bad way. I was given the all clear at the end of March and I'm now a week late...
I took a test on Monday and it was positive, but then took two on Tuesday which were negative. I've since done another 5 and they are all positive......but I don't understand why two were negative so I daren't get my hopes up. I've no other signs other than no period.....anyone else ever experienced this?

I did four pregnancy test with my first son and only one was positive then i went to the doctors and found out i was. 6-8 is good, its a good chance you are. take it easy now and put your feet up for a rest. I miscarried in Jan its not nice at all, i know what you must have gone through its horrible. Try and see the doctors tomorrow morning and see what they say then you need to take it easy and try not to worry about the pregnancy.
Good luck hope all works out for you.

Home pregnancy tests only check hCG levels and the hormone hCG is produced in pregnancy, which is released in a pregnant woman's urine.
It maybe your levels are still high enough after miscarriage to give a positive
If your home pregnancy test is positive — or if you've taken a few home pregnancy tests and gotten mixed results — make an appointment with your doctor, nurse practitioner or midwife. You may need a blood test
Many things can cause missed periods, including illness, stress, excessive exercise and hormonal imbalances. Your doctor can help you get your menstrual cycle back on track.
Good luck

There can be false negatives but no false positives. It could be that you had emptied your bladder a bit too much before trying the tests that turned out negative which can lessen the amount of HCG in it. Or diluted it by drinking too much water beforehand. There are a million reasons for a false negative but as I said there are NO false positives. Go to your doctor to confirm your pregnancy with a blood test ASAP! Good luck!

I would say the odds are you are pregnant. I would schedule a blood test with the doctor asap - Monday morning if you can! Get a qualitative hcg level as well... Then they can check it in a week or so if you are still concerned to make sure the hcg level has gone up.
Good luck - I will be hoping for you!!

simply by fact this is often impossible to pinpoint thought simply by fact the lads may be swimming around for days earlier touch, intercourse isn't what medical doctors use simply by fact the statistical widely used for relationship and sizing. this is occurring your final Menstral era. I, such as you likely would have pinpointed the right date considering he'd been vacationing however the physician exceeded over and went with the LMP. Your infant would desire to easily be on the decrease end of the variety for length and your physician desires to confirm this is nevertheless progressing ok in yet another 10 days. The sizing is a statistical widely used afterall and this is a sturdy sign you will discover the heart beat. relax and look ahead to the subsequent test. Stressing isn't sturdy for the infant the two. Be nicely.

Best thing to do is to go and see a doctor, pregnancy tests can be wrong either way and they are also really expensive! It can take time for your periods to get back on track after a miscarriage. Good luck.

Instead of wasting your money on the purchase of more home tests, go to the doc's and get them to take your blood. Once you know the result of this, then you will no longer be confused or feel like you cant get your hopes up.

Well 6 out of 8 is pretty high so looks as though you could be looking forward to the patter of tiny feet -- but check with your doctor it will put your mind at ease and wish you the best of luck.

Hormone levels fluctuate at different times of the day, were your negative results from test ttaken in the afternoon/evening? The levels are more concentrated, therefore more detectable, first thing in the morning...but since the hormone HAS been detected more recently than the negative results, I have one thing to....
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
