The present always becomes the past. Every nanosecond (or pick your measurement) the present becomes past. We live in the present, which is constantly becoming past. The present we live is also future, which changes by the same measurements. Future becomes present which becomes past.
Think about this: If we traveled back in time and began measuring time when we arrived in, say, 1890, would that time be the present or the past to us? It would certainly be the present for us because that's where we are at that point, but it's the past from today's time. In a sense we would be living in the past AND the present at the same time. Is that really possible? So is past, present, and future relative to our location in time? Or is there really such a thing as time?

Present isn't in the past, the present becomes the past. The future is a present to be. Present is the exact moment in time in which you are living, or is it?
Astronomers recently saw two galaxies collide in a distance in space.
We JUST saw it occur but it happened over 10k years ago.
Is that the present or the past?

Time is a human construct created by his perception of and related to space. It is based on the measuring movement within this conceivable space. Therefore, time does not exist. Look at it this way - Do those that have never been born (that is, those that have not been concieved yet) leave in the past, present or future?

Consider this. Everything real is in the past. There is no present. Because you can only experience something real after you have experienced it, not before. The future can only be imagined.

you have too much time in your hands. time is linear. one direction. time travel is only possible in our minds. somewhere in the brain is a huge storage of consciousness. one day we will be able to (with some kind of assistance) tap into those memories and re-live certain moments in our past. . on the outside, there is no time; only the here and now. time is neither odd nor familiar. humans are the only creatures on earth that measure the passage of time. speaking of time, its my bedtime...
