Well it depends on some things but I suggest you head over to nvidia.com and look at there selection. I have an asus nforce 590. It allows me to overclock my Intel Extreme X6800 from 2.9ghs to 3.3 with no probs.

Yes, Dell and Gateway don't manufacturer much of anything. They buy in large bulk quantities from other manufactures in order to sell to the public for dirt cheap. Do you really care what model your CD-Rom drive is anyways?

it shud be intel but going for the cost Asus is a better option
there r others also like foxconn & asrock but they might not give u that stability

Asus and Gigabyte for the high-end. Foxconn would be more affordable.
