I would and I have, several times in the past ten years. Only the first funeral I went to after I started to go barefoot I wore shoes, but it felt so *wrong* walking on that old, moss-grown cemetery wearing shoes... I'll never do that again. Spiritual reasons aren't the main part of my barefooting, when walking around town I don't think of the Earth mother or anything religious, but in special holy places -whatever religion, whether it's an old cemetery, an old church with worn tiles, or an old pagan site- then walking around with shoes feels just like I'm cursing with every step.

A few weeks ago I went to my girfriends wedding. At the reception, my heels started to kill me,so I took them off for the rest of the night. The bride and several of her bridesmaids went barefoot too. The carpet must have been filthy, because our feet was black after about a few minutes of running around. Lots of girls was barefoot too, so no one really said anything about our dirtyfeet.

The then bride to be recommended me to take off my shoes to boot and flow barefoot like she and a variety of of different others had. i did no longer hesitate and walked around in bare feet for the night. different formal dinners I even have to boot yet I often asked if i ought to take off my shoes, no person asked it of me. no person cared if I went barefoot or no longer.

I have. It's been at a few weddings and it's later in the evening, at the reception once everyone is drunk. Half the people have their shoes off at that point.

I took my shoes off at my friend's wedding. I couldn't stand it anymore and I was the maid of honor. I thought we were finished and then after I sent my shoes away they took pictures. I hope no one noticed I didn't have shoes in the picture we took of everyone outside. LOL. Those dang shoes hurt!

I did!!! At my own wedding. My shoes were killing me so I took them off and set them on a drink table and then someone took a picture of my hubby and I dancing, and the shoes came out on it. LOL.
