I do not mind being a designated Driver. I want friends to have a good time and enjoy themselves. But making sure they get home safe not only shows responsibility and maturity, But shows you as a true friend. Going out and having a good time is Ok. It's good to let off some steam at the end of a long week. telling my friends that I'll be the designated driver just shows them that I care. Good thing to do with friends is to have sombody who will watch your back. A buddy of mine met a girl at a club once and she wanted to go back to her place. So as a friend, I sprung for the cab fare and volunteered to bring them back the next day to pick up her car. Not only did I win points with my friend but with her as well. She thought It was a very mature gesture. that's what friends do. Have fun, but be responsible.

Alas. Everyone gets to have fun but me. Who was it? Jeff Foxworthy? Said for fun, drop people off at the wrong house. Wish I had the guts...
