It's very simple. Britain pays well whether you're employed or not, there's free healthcare and they can say what they want without fear of being arrested. You simply can't do that in many other countries. These things, precisely the things which make Britain great, can be taken advantage of and abused - by anyone. This is just a sad fact of life, but not a justification for extremist policies like "send them all back"

I totally know where you're coming from. I'm originally pakistani and when you get these people who don't want to integrate with the british natives it just pisses you off. I think it's paki culture to think you're better than everyone else but I like to keep an open mind and I admit I have no close friends who are from Pakistan.
A lot of the time you find people are here because after the second world war, Britain were in need of cheap labour to rebuild the country so whole families end up being here against their own will.
They've no right to hate you, especially when you allow them to live in this democracy and have their own rights. I know you're not racist - people ask questions but maybe sometimes they feel intimidated and you need to approach them first to get a reaction.
Oh well, good luck.

Yeah, and welcome to the club. Actually, you Brits were there first. No, the Romans were. Before that, the Greeks.
According to the US media and the "opposition party", the US is the most hated nation on Earth. And everybody will do anything to move here. Go figure.
It's not a racist thing. At this point it's a chaos-out-of-control sovereignty thing.
God bless Mother England.

Stewart - they don't hate us. They don't think their own countries and cultures are so much better. They wouldn't be here if they did.
Most Afghans here are refugees from war, grateful to be somewhere safe - I've heard nothing like you say from Afghans.
Most of those of Pakistani origin are second, third generation, born in this country. They are as entitled as you and I to criticise what they see as wrong in this country.
There are a few nutters who stir things up and get all the publicity - you say you have Asian friends, I'm sure your friends are good people.
Have you considered that it is your friends who are the typical British Asians, not the loud mouthed nutters?
If your friends express hatred, is it a reaction to hostility they receive or do they truly hate this country - in which case, maybe they shouldn't be here.

stewart, I think it's the minority who complain, but they get the airtime because everyone loves a good controversy. The majority of Pakistani and Afghan people there are probably mostly content and happy to be living in England.

They are freeloaders, carpetbaggers or any other word that describes human parasites.
While the Hindu and Sikh communities are significant contributors to this country, members of other groups that are either in receipt of benefits or attempting to change UK law or culture should be immediately returned to their countries of origin.
